my fear

Of panicking about not paying my bills and not having money.

This is a big thing for me and I am actually the one in the family who does the personal accounting and paying of bills. Normally I enjoy it and don't mind, but the money has to be right.

I am a person who suffers a lot from fear, this is why I wasn't on stage, or at least did Open Mics.

my anger

Not going through my planned diary was bad. I was angry with myself. As an artist, this should not happen. You need to be more in control than other people. Because you have to do your projects alone. No one is there that pushes you. You are not accountable to anybody. People around you give mostly a toss, so you are mostly alone, which is really not an easy situation. One has to learn how to deal with it and simply planning doesn't help. You need to be quite self-sufficient and able to control your emotions. So 3 years ago I could not do that, after years of working. Listening to other people of what to do. Following a set time, I did not know how to deal with myself.

Is through this website that I can see what I have and what I will work on.

From simply going back to working long hours again, to getting my songs out there to...., we will see!

I have written 5 melodies and several lyrics which two of them I just have worked through and made them better. Now it is getting time to record the songs. But I wonder as the old soundcard doesn't work well. I have to buy a new one I think, because when I tried to record the last time; nothing was possible.

In the meantime, I practice singing at home, but with low tones in order not to annoy the neighbours. The high notes are practiced in a studio.

ABOUT THE MUSIC

I have written 4 CD's and more is at home. I am currently working on new material. I do everything myself. And I have worked for 10 years to pay for new music programs and a new computer. I had started off with going to amateur opera groups and was in the chorus. I loved operas and musicals. So, at home I train my voice by singing such songs.

I of course wrote the lyrics myself and recorded songs at home. I should go into a music studio the next time.
